Macro May 2021 - Day 3
Day 3, windy all morning (biggest macro enemy) rain all afternoon, rain predicted for the rest of the week. Add to that a ‘check engine’ light on the car dashboard which we couldn’t get looked at because it’s a bank holiday so everything is closed and it all feels pretty miserable. Wandered around the house aimlessly trying to find something to photograph but also wanted something a bit prettier so two today. Let’s hope this week somehow improves.

Rain
It's such a stereotype, the Brits and their obsession with the weather. But honestly, it is so ridiculously changeable. A couple of weeks ago it was low 90s(F)/30s(C) and then we reverted, again, to rain. Temperatures are back to low 60s(F)/high teens (C). Oh well, I do like to sneak out after a shower and photograph raindrops to console myself. Sun you are welcome to return again now.....

February Photo Project 2017 - Photo A Day - Day 6
We seem to be in the middle of a two week stretch of rain. It makes it hard to get out and about or to do much of anything. That also means that I feel like my photography opportunities are limited. I stepped outside for a few minutes earlier today to see if there was anything at all I could shoot, and a little patch of long grass caught my eye...there is something about raindrops beaded up on a surface, that is a little captivating.
*As in years past, I am once again doing a February photo project and will post a photo a day. It may only be one month of the year, but I love to look back on these photos and it never hurts to have a bit of discipline. No real rules, just our life documented a little. Maybe there'll be captions, maybe not, there could be the occasional phone photo thrown in on busier days and sometimes it may be hard to narrow things down and there could be bonus photos.
I'd love for you to follow along, or even join in. Let me know!
