Macro May 2020 - Day 25
Ok, so this isn't a pretty frame-it-and-put-it-up-in-your-house kind of photo. Ha! But it's still a good example of macro, with the close up and extremely shallow depth of field; nose perfectly in focus with everything else fading away in the background. Our cute Scout, part of the family and much loved, underbite and all.

Macro May 2018 - Day 8
I took a break from the floral macros today for my photo. This little guy is a very much loved member of the family, complete with all his issues, because we all have them, right?!

2018 Lifestyle Project - Week 8
You can read the introduction to this project by clicking here.
We continue to unpack and settle into this new home but I feel like the day in and day out is much the same, with little variety for photos. It is our life right now though, so I push through. This little guy has found his spot. He loves to sit by the window facing the street, so he can monitor all the comings and goings, and you know, bark at any passing dogs. When we leave the house I put his bed on top of the chair and as it's quite cold at the moment I also add a blanket, that has slowly become his. He seems to have adapted without problem and will relax quite happily here, although he'd rather be snuggled up with one of us. I think he's doing just fine, the rest of us should hopefully catch up soon.

Photo Project February 2017 - Photo A Day - Day 19
This doggie is truly loved. He is such a special part of our family and brings comfort and joy. He has his own bond with each of us. It's not always about a technically 'perfect photo', but about capturing the moment. The perfect moment.
*As in years past, I am once again doing a February photo project and will post a photo a day. It may only be one month of the year, but I love to look back on these photos and it never hurts to have a bit of discipline. No real rules, just our life documented a little. Maybe there'll be captions, maybe not, there could be the occasional phone photo thrown in on busier days and sometimes it may be hard to narrow things down and there could be bonus photos.
I'd love for you to follow along, or even join in. Let me know!

February Project - Photo A Day - Day 2
As in years past, I've decided to do the February photo project and take a photo a day. It never hurts to have a bit of discipline and with all our transitions my creativity has been sorely lacking, so I'm looking forward to jumping back in. No real rules, just our life documented a little. Maybe there'll be captions, maybe not, there could be the occasional phone photo thrown in on busier days and sometimes it may be hard to narrow things down and there could be bonus photos. I'd love for you to follow along, or even join in. Let me know!
And then there's this guy; Scout our beloved puggle! He's such a happy doggie, who covers a ton of ground at great speed and with great glee. He makes us all smile with his perfect mix of crazy outdoors and couch potato indoors, he most definitely is a part of the family.
